I’m deliberately not calling this daily quotes as I may not post them every day, but I cannot think of a more appropriate quote to kick off with on Armed Forces Day. While I may not agree with the political decisions to go to war oftentimes, I have nothing but the highest respect for those who serve professionally and with distinction in any sort of military role in the UK and around the world.
